Geckistry is a breeding and genetics research program for crested geckos and Leachianus geckos, based in Tyler, Texas.
How it started
I picked up my first crested gecko at a Texas expo as a hobbyist. Coming from a background in dog showing (ABKC and UKC), the impulse to track every pairing, document every outcome, and build a real record came naturally. Over time the hobby turned into a full breeding and research program.
What we do
Data-driven pairings
Every pairing is planned around structure, genetics, and lineage — never just appearance. Outcomes are logged so we get better at predicting morph results.
Document everything
Parent morphs, allele data, and zygosity travel with every gecko. You can read the lineage straight off the listing.
Lifetime support
When you buy from us you get the breeder directly — for husbandry questions, diet tweaks, or troubleshooting, for the life of the animal.
Share what we learn
We publish what we figure out so the next generation of breeders has more to work with than the last.
Breeding standards
All breeding animals must meet structural, health, weight, and rest requirements aligned with Gold Standard Gecko Club guidelines. Every pairing carries full genetic tracking.
